“Charlie Kirk met his Savior. For us, there is still time. Jesus is waiting.”

“Charlie Kirk met his Savior. For us, there is still time. Jesus is waiting.”

A few days ago, tragedy struck. Charlie Kirk, a young husband, father, and bold witness for Christ, was taken from this world at just 31 years old. He was assassinated while speaking at Utah Valley University—doing what he had always done: proclaiming truth, defending faith, and pointing people to Jesus.

His death shook many. It shook me. And it deeply impacted my adult children, who had quietly admired his courage. They saw in him a rare boldness—a man unafraid to say that salvation is found only through Jesus Christ. That eternal life is not earned through works or politics, but received through faith.

Charlie Kirk touched millions. Through Turning Point USA, he reached over 850,000 young people across 2,000 campuses. But more than numbers, he reached hearts. He reminded a generation that faith is not weakness—it’s strength. That truth is not divisive—it’s freeing.

Just four days before his death, Charlie posted:

“Jesus defeated death so you can live.”

And now, he has met the Savior he spoke of so often. His faith has become sight.

For those of us still living, this moment is a holy invitation. Because salvation is not a political idea—it is a divine promise.

“If you declare with your mouth, ‘Jesus is Lord,’ and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.” —Romans 10:9

This is the Gospel:
Jesus came through the virgin Mary.
He lived in human form.
He died for our sins.
And He rose again on the third day.

“He was delivered over to death for our sins and was raised to life for our justification.” —Romans 4:25
“He is not here; He has risen, just as He said.” —Matthew 28:6

If we believe this with all our hearts, He is faithful and good to give us eternal life.

“For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life.” —John 3:16

There is no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus.

“Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus.” —Romans 8:1

This truth is not partisan. It is personal. It is our God-given right to believe, to receive, and to be saved.

Charlie Kirk lived boldly. And now, he lives eternally.

“I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith.” —2 Timothy 4:7

May we, too, proclaim the name of Jesus. May we confess Him as Lord. And may we live with the same urgency and love that Charlie carried into every room.

Because for us, there is still time.
And Jesus is still waiting.
